Bethlehem Academy implement Lunch Cashier System of wordware Inc.

Lunch Cashier System is a Computerized Payment System,  versatile, affordable meal management system 

Bethlehem Academy has partner with wordwareInc   Lunch cashier system ,  now Bethlehem Academy meal service transitioned to an electronic meal ID system this year. The system eliminates the need for paper tickets that are often lost. The new procedures described below -

Use of Student ID

To log into the Wordware site, you will need to know your Family ID and PIN number when setting up your account.  Please contact Tracy Meschke or Ed Friesen to receive your Family ID and PIN.

To Make An Online Payment:

Bethlehem Academy currently does not do automatic data sharing between our online School Store and the Wordware Lunch Cashier system.  However, you can still make a lunch payment online through the School Store and we will update the Lunch Cashier system to reflect your online payment.

Family accounts are established for all families in the Bethlehem Academy. It is not necessary for families to write individual checks for each student in the family. Money for this lunch account can be deposited by sending a payment with any child.

On line payments can be made with your credit card or electronic transfer from your bank account. You will use your Family ID Number, and PIN number (the last 4 digits of your phone number). The first time your access Efunds for on line payments, you will be prompted to set up your own password.

Payments by check made out to “Bethlehem Academy” or cash will be accepted in any school cafeteria. Please write your child’s name on your check and on the envelope, in case it is misplaced. Payments need to be turned in directly to the kitchen by 10:00 am in order to be available for lunch that day.

Check Prepayments

You also have the added convenience of being able to check your account balance, and review the last 2 weeks of purchases and payments at any time you have access to the internet! Click the “Check Account Balance” button above. You will use your Family ID Number, and PIN number (the last 4 digits of your phone number).

If you have a concern regarding your child’s purchases, please complete a Lunch Restriction Form and turn it in to the school office or cafeteria. You have the ability to set limits on your child’s account as you feel necessary. Limit examples may include setting a maximum dollar amount to be spent each day, Pure Health snacks only or no a la carte. If you send in a restriction, it will appear on the screen to alert the cashier when your child accesses their account.

Faster Lines

The school Food Service department believes this will assure the parents that meal money will be used for lunch/breakfast. No one will feel any embarrassment when using the Lunch Cashier System as no one will be identified as such. This change speeds up the meal line because there is little money being exchanged. Students do not have to worry about losing or protecting their money and it is an efficient and effective way for us to meet your child’s needs now and in the future.

If for any reason you would like a copy of the transactions of your child’s account we will be able to give you a print out.
